This feature allows you to temporarily exclude a contact from your campaigns.
All contacts are enabled by default. To check whether a contact is enabled, go to Contacts — All Contacts. The Enabled column shows the contact’s current status. If the toggle switch is on, the contact is enabled. If it’s off, the contact is disabled.
Disable contacts
There are several ways to disable contacts, depending on whether you’re working with the full contact base or a specific list.
From ‘All contacts’
To disable contacts, go to Contacts → All Contacts → Select one or more contacts using the checkboxes on the left. Use the checkbox in the table header to select all contacts in the list.
When actions become available, click Actions and choose Disable Contacts.

From contact list
To disable contacts from the list, go to Contacts → Lists → Select the list you need and one or more contacts. When actions become available, click Actions and choose Disable Contacts.
💡 If a contact is included in several lists, it will be disabled in all of them. Disabled contacts don’t receive any communications and appear grey.
Using toggle switch
Alternatively, you can manually disable a contact using the toggle switch in the Enabled column next to the contact on the All Contacts page or on the selected list’s page.

Disabled contacts appear grey in the table
Re-enable contacts
To re-enable a contact, go to Contacts → All Contacts or Lists and choose a specific list→ Select one or more contacts using the checkboxes on the left. Use the checkbox in the table header to select all contacts in the list.
When actions become available, click Actions and choose Enable Contacts.
Alternatively, you can manually re-enable contacts by using a switch in the “Enabled” column next to the contact on the All Contacts page or on the selected list’s page.
