Set up booking page and preferences

Use meeting schedule Settings to:

  • Select a list to save new contacts, 
  • Sync your external calendars, 
  • Set up notifications and reminders. 

In the main menu, open SettingsPublic page tab to customize your booking page.

Here you can:

  • Change your booking page URL
  • Add a page title and subtitle

You can also enable multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and German. Selzy translates a page title and subtitle into the selected languages automatically.

You can switch between language tabs to preview the page and relevant details. The link to your booking page in each language is available in their respective tabs. 

Note that if you set up more than one language for the booking page, you’ll need to write a name and description of your meeting types for each of them.

Next, customize colors and set a post-booking redirect page

Once your booking page is ready, share the link through your website, social media profiles, or email signature. 

In the Settings, you can also:

  • Select a list for saving new contacts. You can select it from the dropdown menu in the General tab, or create a new one directly from the tab. 
  • Give access to additional users
  • Set up notifications for new bookings, cancellations, rescheduling and reminders. 
  • Connect your schedules to an external calendar or calendars.

Supported services include:

  • Google Calendar
  • Apple Calendar (iCloud)
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Other iCal calendars (Proton Mail, Yahoo, etc.)

Once connected, events from your external calendar are automatically blocked in Meeting Scheduling. New bookings are added to your calendar, and Google Meet links can be created automatically when required.

Example: Online consultation bookings

Let’s say you are a career coach who offers 30-minute online consultations.

First, you set up a schedule with the following availability:

  • Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-12:00 PM and 2:00 PM-6:00 PM
  • Time zone: Eastern Time (ET)
  • Public holidays blocked

Next, you create a meeting type. You can choose 30 minutes duration and video calls via Google Meet. You set up a booking horizon for 30 days. This means that your clients can set up an online consultation 30 days in advance. 

Then, you can customize your booking page by:

  • Setting the URL. For example, you set it to timeslot.com/sarah-coaching
  • Adding the title Career Coaching with Sarah
  • Selecting your brand colors
  • Enabling English and Spanish

Then, you can share the booking page link on your website and LinkedIn profile. When a client books a session, they automatically receive a confirmation email with the Google Meet link, calendar invitation, and links to reschedule or cancel the meeting.
