Add Consent to Personal Data Collection and Processing to Your Signup Form

According to the GDPR and CalOPPA, you need to add a checkbox to obtain consent for processing of personal data to the contact collection forms. Let's figure out how to do this.

First, create a signup form or open a template  form in the editor. Then add the block "Agreements With Terms".

Edit the text, or add a link to the terms.

Enter the text of the error message  if the user doesn't check the box.

If your site visitors  wants to subscribe, but forgets to give the consent, they will see an error message

 

Information about the consent (checkedbox) is not copied to additional fields.
